Walked in the door from the grocery store and there was BSG on TV! My wife had it tuned to the SyFy Channel, but was not watching it. I was instantly riveted. I might have to break out my collection.

Then I saw a ad for Blade Runner 2049... to be continued in Movie thread.

Just started watching Stranger Things. Love the 80's setting and logo font.

Oh fun, yeah, if you dig on the 80s feel you'll really enjoy the whole series. It channels a little Spielberg, Carpenter (their various incredible contributions to 80s film), and also a little flavor of The Goonies, Stand by Me, and the presence of Winona Ryder gives it even more grounding in the 80s and 90s.

The kids are _terrific_, and that's always tricky, I mean, I think it's way harder to cast compelling child actors than adults (which something Spielberg always excelled at!)

It can suck when you get it wrong with kids!
