I had some of those loop deals; I never was super impressed after having used Loopy cases first.

Well so far I’m Impressed. I want wireless charging to work so loopy is out. Plus I don’t feel like loopy cases are that protective (could be wrong) but the only one I held felt like cheap plastic with the loop. The pop sockets don’t work because I want magnet mounts in my truck plus wireless charging. So far this meets both those needs. It’s a simple solution for $4.

Just saw Speck has a 50% deal for today. May be valid for a few more hours. There’s the code SAVE10 for an additional 20% off.

I’ve been using my fake Apple Silicon case (with opened bottom) the past few days and remembered how much I love the soft touch material feel. Ended up picking up the Speck Presidio Pro for the full case protection and may end up using this and if the case gets dirty, I’ll just switch to another case.

There could be a 99% discount on Speck and I still wouldn’t buy their poor quality products. Used to love the grip cases back in the iPhone 5 days. Since then the cases start to fall apart after a few weeks.

I received the Caudabe Sheath (navy) and Synethesis (grey) on Christmas Eve, so apologies for the delay! The Sheath indeed does not have the asymmetrical cutouts for the speaker, but I personally don't really mind. It would bother me more if the mute toggle wasn't centered, but it is. The Sheath is a little slippery for my own liking (but I've been using a Presidio Grip for the past year or so on my old phone, so everything will seem relatively slippery) but it's not too bad - I'll likely keep it or exchange for a more fun color, unless someone has a suggestion for a case exactly like it, just a little bit grippier.

I'm disappointed with the Synthesis though - incredibly slippery to me. I thought the grooved sides would be grippy, but the cuts are not deep and only add a very, very slight texture. The frosted back also seems like it will show scratches or discoloration easily - unfortunately I didn't notice if it came out of the box this way or if my brief handling of the case caused it, but there is/was a black speck near the camera cutout, and some noticeable marks on the back of the case - not literal stratches on the case that I can feel, but marks that I can't wipe off. Back it goes!

Just curious how the cases falls apart? I know for the Speck Grip cases people mentioning the rubber strips would fall off. I noticed for the XR cases I’ve tried at Best Buy that the area around the buttons are a bit looser. And the mute toggle slot is off centered. I did see Slickdeals comments about “counterfeit” Speck cases...but I’m guessing the problem could happen to their official cases as well.

But seeing negative comments here makes me want to cancel my order before it ships..

Currently using this one. Speaker cutouts are the same but...seems like a cool case.

My speck grip for the XR has been awesome. Plus speck will replace your grip if your rubber grips come off.

I caved and bought a black Nomad Rugged Case. My worries about the camera cutout being too big was for nothing; the camera cutout is perfect. Here are some random notes about this case:
1. It adds a significant weight to the phone! Out of all of the cases I own, this is without a doubt the heaviest.
2. There is a sharp edge on all four sides where the leather meets the TPE bumper.
3. I don't know if mine was a returned product, but my leather already had marks and dents out of the case (I think it adds character, but some people might not like it).
4. The case is wider and taller than the Caudabe Sheath, but not by much.
5. The buttons are really tactile, but they're ever so slightly flush, so it makes finding them sort of difficult. When I first reach for the volume buttons, it takes me a split second to figure out if my finger is on the volume up or volume down button.
6. The cutout at the bottom is symmetrical.
7. The leather smells great.

Strip on each side and two along side-isles of back maybe? If they’d stick... maybe to their regular solid suit

Yeah. I would give them a go for the Mous and SS if they don’t attract a ton of lint/dust. Never heard of them before.

I received my Speck Presidio Pro the other day and am a bit disappointed with it. The case feels slightly less solid (feels thinner) than the iPhone 6 Plus one I had. The buttons isn’t as responsive as I expected. The lips are high, even with the tempered glass. The width of the case doesn’t seem to add too much to the width. But the material, while soft touch plastic feel, is pretty slippery to me. The soft touch material feels really thin too as it doesn’t have the “bounce” feel I was expecting. It feels like a thin layer of the soft touch material layered on top of plastic.

Due to my initial disappointment with the case, I’ve only had it on for a few minutes and just went back to my fake Apple silicone case. Now the only other case I’m thinking of is the Miracase liquid silicone case to see if it feels like the Apple silicone case but full face coverage..but not sure if the feel will be what I’m expecting..
