Got the Strips in. Probably worth the $5 but no more. The strips could have better grip if made differently but they do work and I will leave them on I believe. The mous with the phone loop and strips (lol)

You don’t really notice them unless you move the phone and have some light reflect off them.

thanks for the update.i think it look better on mooth/shiny black case.

If you use a Mous or a solid suit, i would totally recommend these in clear or black depending on your case color. The pics I took were to show them installed. I had to get light between the case and the camera for them to show up. I have asked my kids if they can tell a difference in my case and they all guessed stuff that wasn’t there. They haven’t noticed these strips.

Now that said, these don’t add the amount of grip that say, a speck grip has , but it’s noticeable how much more they add.

The Mous case is tough to pick up when laying fat by its sides. It’s a hard plastic that is slick. Much like the solid suit. With 2 strips added to the sides it’s now very easy to do so. I also curved one around the bottom corner where my pinky rests and it holds great. But again I also love my phone loop that makes it much easier to hold.

I need to get a few put on my leather solid suit. Maybe this evening I’ll get to it.

Ahh, got a wrinkle? I did the first time but pulled the end up and straightened it out then pressed down to adhere. Worked great. Getting it straight was my biggest issue but took seconds to install.

Yeah I kind of got it out. Things are pretty nice. I bet, on a bare phone, as designed they’d really excel at shine. I can’t go naked though lol

I am going to try the dbrand grip and their prism screen protector but as stated above not shipping until feb.

I didn’t get the Prism as I already have like 7 glass screen protectors laying around. But went with a grip and a black camo skin.

What do you think the chances are of being disappointed? For me it would be at least a 90% chance without easy returns.

With the old grips included it might even be a 95% chance.

That’s a great question. I really loved the original grip with the skin combo. I’m already less thrilled that it’s a case and not a bumper with less protection(it appears). That said, dbrand swears they learned a ton from that first and this one is better in every way. I’ll have to see some reviews to know for sure but the idea of skinning the backplate is a good one, over the phone but I preferred the look of the original.

I've never ordered from Dbrand, do they have a poor reputation? What happened with the "old grips"?
