Hi Danny,

The case you linked to, the buttons aren't good? I wanted to try this one, but that’s my only concern.

Thanks.

The one I received didn’t have enough tactile feedback on the buttons.

The buttons worked, but just a tad bit too mushy for me.

Currently using the forest green apple leather case. Good enough for now.
I’m getting a saddle brown apple leather with the phone I picked up on Swappa. I’m interested in trying it out. I was just thinking about something else for drop protection. That Supcase looked interesting, but button response is important to me. Hope you had a great holiday with your family and thanks for your feedback. :)

Thanks. Likewise.

Maybe I received a defective one. Try it out. Luckily Amazon has a generous return policy.

Obviously just my opinion, but the sheath is worth the extra. I've bought $2 cases and whether or not the same material is used the quality is much different. The sheath fits perfectly while the $2 cases have gaps/loose fit/too tight etc. Buy what you want but I don't think you can say a case is truly bad or not worth it unless you've personally used it.

Try to remember, these youtube reviewers are marketing themselves just like the case companies. The more views they get the more cases they get sent by the companies etc etc etc. Not that they are dishonest but it pays to be "interesting". The videos are a good guide but in the end it's up to the buyer to decide if something is worth it. I don't think Caudabe would be so popular if people didn't think they were good?
Hi @kingston73,

The reviewer in that video shows the sheath doesn’t lay flush on his table. Have you experienced that issue? Anything you can add would be great, if you still using your sheath? Thank you.

Totally satisfied with these strips. I’m actually totally stunned how much they help with a slippery case and how hard it is to notice them.

People in the poor fit AirPods thread should use the small ones of these for that.

Can you post a link of where/what these are? I couldn’t find anything in the back pages

my XS is Currently alternating between the updated black sheath, the vrs high shield pro, the red apple leather case, and every once in a while the blue sheath. Don't use the Synthesis in gray or the element case black ops much. So if anyones looking at picking up a black ops or synthesis let me know haha.View attachment 813583
What was updated on the sheath? Thank you.

It's like a Russian nesting doll case.

Apple ought to produce a limited-edition XS model with the stainless band and crystal clear glass, like the old, clear-cased Mac prototypes.

Looks just like a switch easy case. Wonder if they're made by the same factory?

Not quite. This is a 2-piece case that also covers the front with glass. No need to apply a screen protector. All built into the case. Magnetic closure holds 2 pieces together like a sandwich.

Thoughts on the newly dropped Iphone XS Max Apple branded battery case? I'm getting one now lol. If its nice will be AWESOME for traveling

Thank you for the info . I had one for my iPhone 7 and loved it but now on the XS the battery is so good that I'm wondering if I really need one ..

Just when I thought I was done with cases, Apple releases the battery case. I’m awfully tempted to get one. I use it on my spare iPhone 7, and I absolutely love it.

That is true, the sheath is so thin that the camera protection forms a rim around the camera. It's not really that bad and doesn't make the phone wobbly or anything unusable. I noticed it the first time I used it and haven't noticed it since.

If you end up buying it let us know, looks interesting. I'd be worried about the magnets either not holding when the phone's dropped or maybe potentially messing with the phone reception and/or gps or mapping apps.
