I got the email the Synthesis was in stock and within the 7 minutes it took me to see the email and go to the site the Black Black Synthesis was sold out. So I’ve given up and ordered the Apple Battery Case

lol...I was thinking the frosted and black, but don't know the feedback people have had. I have heard some say the cutouts are wrong and that the back scratches to he!!.

I received that same email this morning about the Synthesis being in stock.

The email said it has "symmetrical cutouts".

After reading this thread I have ordered a Caudabe Sheath for my iPhone XS Max, thanks everyone for the recommendations.

My other option was a Mous Limitless 2.0 in carbon which I may still get at a later date

I’m running the saddle brown Apple leather on my XS Max now and really like it. Nice premium look. Looking to get a more protective case as well. I’m leaning strongly towards the Caudabe Sheath, with the Supcase UB Series (the UAG look, without branding) and the Ringke Fusion X in the mix. I’m so torn and have been looking around.

Who has pics of their XS in a Sheath?

That is true, the sheath is so thin that the camera protection forms a rim around the camera. It's not really that bad and doesn't make the phone wobbly or anything unusable. I noticed it the first time I used it and haven't noticed it since.

If you end up buying it let us know, looks interesting. I'd be worried about the magnets either not holding when the phone's dropped or maybe potentially messing with the phone reception and/or gps or mapping apps.

Friends don't let friends buy $60 cases.

I do think you would like the sheath. Excellent grip, and a good fit for something so thin

I’m very tempted to stick with the Apple leather saddle brown and just call it a day. It’s so nice. Great buttons and cutout around the camera is spot on. The bottom is open, but I have AppleCare+. This goes against anything I’ve ever considered for a daily case. I’ve always leaned to more protective cases, with the bottom covered. Of course, still debating.

definitely the sheath.

I do have a custom symmetry from zazzle that I use a lot as well...just due to the custom picture
