definitely the sheath.

I do have a custom symmetry from zazzle that I use a lot as well...just due to the custom picture

If I ranked:
1. Sheath
2. Custom Symmetry
3. Solid Suit-classic black
4. Ringke Onyx
5. Apple leather
“You’re killing me smalls.” (Sandlot)

Sheath at the top of your list may be calling my name, but will wait for now and see how my experiment goes. :)

I got a new ESR Yippee case for my XS Max. This is a pretty sharp case. It has a texture very similar to the Apple iPad case, it has a soft rubber feel. I also like the fact it has enough of a lip that with my 3D screen protector is still off my desk when I place it face down. It reminds me of the Apple Leather case but instead of leather it has the Apple iPad case rubber type material and color not TPU but rubber/silicone and felt lined too. I like the added grip but it still goes in and out of my pocket fine

@AE14: What about the Pitaka Magcase Pro? Last I remembered (a few weeks back), you had switched to your Pitaka Magcase Pro?

I was using my fake Apple silicone for about 2 weeks, and finally got tired of the difficulty getting in and out of pockets (but still love the feeling in the hands).

The last 1.5 weeks, I'm back using my Ringke Fusion as I want to see the color of my phone. The Fusion still satisfies most of what I want in a case that my temptation to buy another case has been reduced a lot.

Slightly tempted to pick up an imitation Apple leather (with metal buttons) for the XR since Apple doesn't make an official one...but its not a strong urge.

But all the mentioning of the Caudabe Sheath, perhaps I'll switch back to the Sheath soon. Haven't really used my Sheath the past few weeks.

With that Caudabe Synthesis, is that an all clear back or is it frosted? Can't really tell by the pics. About to order one either way.
The Black Synthesis has a dark frosted back. It is so dark that you really can't tell what color phone is in the case. Note, the back is smooth and scratches very easy with even normal use. Aside from that I like the case.

Good memory. LOL. Like always unfortunately, I ended up dropping it. The back is way too fingerprint prone for me

Got the new Apple battery case for my Xs max today. Love it. The hump on the back makes it nice to hold in the hand. Also, I’ve never had a silicone case before and so far I like the feel.
I agree with you on the feel of the silicone case. I've always avoided them after hearing they are lint magnets, but I got the Apple Smart Battery Case for my spare iPhone 7, and I can't get over how nice it feels. I only use it for an alarm and games for my niece, so it's never been in any pockets, so I haven't experienced the lint magnet part yet. I like the feel so much, I'm tempted to purchase a Torras silicone case for my Xs Max since I heard it's practically the same case as the Apple silicone case.

Another plus for the apple battery case is that it protects the bottom of the phone and also prevents you catching your finger on any screen protector when swiping up.

Loved my 6s battery case. Actually liked the hump that didn’t go all the way down as it sat in the hand perfect. Was very heavy but felt great in hand.

At a glance (haven’t held one yet) the new battery case looks like it would fit oddly in the hand. Hope not. I have a XR anyone have one yet for XR? All YouTube reviews I’ve seen are just for XS and max. The Xr is def wider than those models and i wonder with the width and weight how this one feels.

Does anyone here not use a screen protector? Mines got a little crack in it on the top. Don’t know whether to just pull it off or not.

Black/frosted synthesis arrived for my xs max. I love it. I used this case on my last two phones though.

Cutouts aren’t right but I don’t really care.

The back is slicker than the sheath, but it’s the right combo for me.

Received a Carbon Mous Limitless 2.0 today and wow it's a beast of a case.

Rear is a little slippery though. Hope it gets better after some use.

Also got a Sheath case coming too.

It’s what I’m still using at the moment until my grip v2 gets here. I’m loveing the Mous buy I do have it a lil tricked up for a case. The sides of the Mous were slick for me. So I bought the strips I mentioned earlier in black and put on the sides. Bam, instant grip. I also use a phone loop that I love since the Xr is a little wider than previous phones. Just helps me secure it more often.

Also, something I’ve noticed about fingerprints on this case....they only show looking at the case at a side angle. Kind of weird, but when looking down on the case I never see the prints. If I move it around and hold it to the side I can usually see some smudges. I’m ok with that. Minimized.

Damn it. Now I might have to buy another. How’s the fit to the phone? Does anything pull away?

Went to Apple Store today, and despite my issues with price ended up getting a Battery case for Max. Sure feels a lot better in hand than I expected. Contours to hand quite nicely and isn’t nearly as heavy as I expected. With case not being charged had issues getting phone to recognize it etc. Same as all other silicones it’s a lint magnet but going to try to “deal with it” and hope the extra battery from case supersedes that issue. Not sure anything is going to supersede the asinine price tag they put on these; easily my biggest issue.
