Which case will you be getting for your new XS/XS Max? [MERGED]

I think I have found the Caudabe Sheath's brother from another mother...Picked up the Silk "Kung Fu Grip" case for my iPhone XS Max and after using it, I think I'll be sticking with this, over the Sheath.

The Silk and Caudabe seems to made from the same type of polymer. The Silk has the rough, grip texture only on the edges, with a smoother back. The Caudabe has a similar rough texture, but it covers the sides and back. The Silk is dimensional the same as the Caudabe Sheath, but taller, so there is more of a lip, around the top of the screen. I use an Icarez 3D screen protector and with the lip, I can lay the phone face down, without the protector touching the surface. The Sheath's lip is about even, so when laying the phone face down, it's resting on the screen protector. The buttons on the Silk are just a tad more "clicky" than than the Caudabe, which I like. The Silk doesn't have the extended camera protection that the Sheath has, instead, it's recessed...Which means it won't wobble if you touch your phone on a corner, while it's resting face up...

All in all, for half the price of the Sheath, I'm happy. Check out the pics, with some comparison shots of the Silk and Sheath...

I don’t have a Silk for my Max but always liked them in previous iteration devices. Looks like a good case.

The only issue I have had with the silk is that it isn’t tight to the phone. Edges pull away too easily for me.

Patchworks Level Arc case. Excellent grip, excellent buttons, nice case but I don't care for it.
This $13.99 case has one of the best grips of any case I've tried so far. No worries at all of dropping your phone while wearing this case.
The problem is that the case is bowed like a banana when the phone is not in it. Even when the phone in the case it does not lay flat when sitting down on a flat surface. It rocks back and forth which would drive me crazy. Not bad for $13.99 though.

Black/frosted synthesis arrived for my xs max. I love it. I used this case on my last two phones though.

Cutouts aren’t right but I don’t really care.

The back is slicker than the sheath, but it’s the right combo for me.

Any scratching issues with this gray model? The stealth black came scratched and picked up several more with only a couple hours of usage.

Ended up returning the battery case... did a normal day & only ended up using 60% of the battery case... don’t really think it was needed for the Max. Also it was huge in hand!

Gf is keeping hers for the XS though

Did the same. It mad the max feel like I was carrying around a station wagon in my pocket. I never come close to draining the max battery.

Sheath arrived today. Very slimline unlike the mous

Feels good, all cutouts in right place. Nice lip protection although if you use a glass screen protector it almost is same height.









The mous is definitely more hardcore and it looks like it has better drop protection but is a pain to take off and on, your fingers literally hurt!

Mous presentation is better imo

I like the slimness of the sheath. Will rock both

Took my Mous off today to try on the Apple battery case and had no problems. I start from the bottom right corner (looking at the phone) and just pushed and cane right off. Way easier than the rhinoshield.

Last week I crushed my Max's screen/device doing crunches on a track. I knocked my True Depth camera out of alignment as well. I learned my lesion my (White box replacement) brand new Max in now in a Defender case....

Got the new Apple battery case for my Xs max today. Love it. The hump on the back makes it nice to hold in the hand. Also, I’ve never had a silicone case before and so far I like the feel.

Battery case on 19% after 24 hours. iPhone constantly on 100%.

No issues so far. I’ve had this case for 2 other phones. It does pick up some light scratches eventually, but nothing that’s ever bothered me.

I canceled mine. They tried to talk me out of canceling but I don't need another case AND I don't want to be the test subject for a new case. If the feedback is good I may order it but their X version got pretty poor reviews so I'm waiting.
