My XS Max Gold is gorgeous as it is, and any case ruins it.

I got one clear silicone case, but I do not like how it looks and feels, my Max feels so bulky and uncomfortable to hold with any case. I am rocking it caseless most of the time.

The only must is a screen protector. Somehow, these screens develop hairline scratches (barely visible) no matter how much are you careful with it.

It really helps me, and others i think, when I see everyone list their current favorites (because I know favorites might change frequently). So if others can join me and list their top favorites I'd appreciate it.

For my XS Max
1. Evutec AER Karbon- thin and has a nice grip on the side
2. Apple Silicone- love the grip and feel
3. Nomad Rugged leather- modified with a "Loopy" on the back

I expect my list to change shortly. I am waiting for a "corrected" Sheath and a Vaja Grip ( thanks again WNYX) to arrive.

Thanks in advance
Hey, I checked the tracking and it says the case it out for delivery. I'm looking forward to your thoughts/review of the case.

This was driven by retailers. They could sell the same exact case for 6/7/8 series phones. There is a finite amount of space in stores, and they had zero interest in carrying the same exact case x 3.

Speck and Belkin were the only ones taking it to extremes.

Those Speck cases were so awkward looking, they had to create a FAQ about them.

Just got the Otterbox Figura from Apple. Very similar to the Sheath. Very nice case, good fit and grip and solid protection.
Trying to determine whether I like the design on back and the price. But intriguing, since you compared it to the Sheath.

Thanks for your take!

I did purchase their clear Vue, but I like this far better. Vue will be going back for sure.

I got two cases for my Gold XS Max - the clear Spigen Ultra Hybrid and the Fine Port Otterbox Symmetry. I don't for the Spigen - it smudges readily and just looks too "plasticy". Plus, I don't think it would do well if dropped onto a hard surface. I like the Otterbox though it is bulkier. It looks good and feels good. I also got the clip holster for the Otterbox - not for wearing on my belt but for handy extra protection when I want to toss the phone into a bag/backpack.

So I got my Sheath case about an hour ago and mine just so happens to have an irregular shaped camera bump cutout causing the phone to rock back and forth very easily. I could deal with a little motion like Technically Tee's review but mine was more like other Youtuber who did the review on it and it is very annoying. I very well could have just got a bad unit but will be returning mine. Overall though it is a nice case. Very thin, feels great in hand w/ good grip but having a case that rocks like mine does is a deal breaker for me. Hopefully those who ordered have better luck.

Contact them, because they will make it right and send you another. Both the cases I have are fine around the camera hump, but I’ve seen that irregularity you mentioned before.

It would be different if I could just walk into a store I would surely swap it out. I may give it one more attempt but not really in the mood to be playing the case lottery game mailing back and forth knowing this is a known issue.
