I have the Caudabe Sheath for my XS Max for the past 2 weeks and there’s a few whiteish spots showing up now. Almost seems like wear. It hasn’t been dropped and hasn’t sat on anything I would consider a rough surface. It sits on my wireless charging stand practically all day 5 days a week. Hard to see in photos and I attempted with my iPad. Is this common?

The blacked out Monarch is also a fingerprint magnet on the back. :(
Not as bad as the Pitaka but it does show fingerprints/smudges on that flat black finish.
[doublepost=1540992117][/doublepost]No love for the Simply Carbon Fiber case? They have a rugged version now. Had this case in the past and the carbon fiber is beautiful and has a clear coating over it and the fingerprints are not bad at all.

Here are a couple pictures of it on my Note 9.

Looks good. Since it’s real Cf can you exacto knife it off? Or razor blade?

Ordered. Delivered. Installed. Tighter than before. Got it off pheww. Packed. Return initiated.

Love the case but this on off business is a worry for me. Maybe our friends across the pound got looser fit SS.

The pics of Magcase ive seen show hardly any lip on the front. Can you please advise if it has a good lip all around.
Im going to order regardless of fingerprint issue. Will have to tame my OCD.

What is that lovely case on your AirPods?

Your right, that logo ruins the whole case.

Is that the leather one you got? Smell like leather?
I can't tell if you're being sarcastic. I wish someone I knew had one so I can see it in person. Maybe the logo doesn't look that bad in real life. I really want the case with the Alcantara on the back. How are the buttons? They look stiff to press, like the Apple leather cases that came out before they switched to metal buttons.

I don’t have this on mine and been using it for 3 weeks. Contact them. Sure they will sort you out.

Just ordered:
1. RhinoShield SolidSuit Leather iPhone XS Max case, 2. RhinoShield 9H Tempered Glass Screen Protector, 3. Extra buttons (full set)

Just got my case. I like it so far. The leather feels more like plastic to me. Not very grippy. I'll use it for a day or two and see how it goes. I like the buttons - colors (using red at the moment) and their clickiness. I'm coming from an Spigen case (Rugged Armor i think) and this feels bigger.

I had the Note 9 one and it had very grippy sides and the carbon fiber was fabulous.
The LOGO on the back does suck but what you going to do.
I have pictures of the Note 9 one but not the iPhone model.

i don't have that on my 1 week old Sheath. i assume you've tried wiping it off with a damp cloth or even alcohol wipe to make sure it isn't something that rubbed onto the case?

I’ve got sad news my fellow case lovers. Who was it that said these solid suit cases start to peel after a while? I think it’s starting to happen to me. If you zoom in you can see where it’s starting to separate (as well as the added grip they put on the sides). I can only imagine that it will get worse. This is super disappointing for me. Now I get that I probably take the case on and off more than the average person but still. This sucks. Not sure if I’m returning yet. We shall see.

man, that's disappointing. i was seriously thinking about ordering one off these, but it sounds like they really haven't figured out these durability issues for removing and re-installing the case.

It is disappointing. I’m going to take this opportunity to use a thinner case. Currently using the Apple leather. I’ve got the diztronic in my mailbox as a Sheath alternative.

I actually have a crash guard in my cart, as from what I read, it comes with a back scratch protector.

I should feel thinner than the solid suit I would guess. I may check it out.

For the thread:

First impressions of the diztronic.... it’s like a cousin to the Sheath. About the same size and weight but everything is smooth unlike the pebble texture of the Sheath. That can be a good or bad thing depending on what you want. It’s a little slick but not too bad. Buttons are great. One gripe is that it’s a bit lose on the edges of the case. No fingerprints. Overall it’s a really minimal clean design. I’m actually pretty impressed for $10.

For those that had the Otterbox Symmetry for the Max. Was you case hard to get on the phone and did the rubber bulge out by the power and volume buttons? Also what color did you have?

Trying to figure out if only certain colors are like this.

Mine didn’t have those issues. Had black.
