Which case will you be getting for your new XS/XS Max? [MERGED]

I am taking back my solid suit recommendation. The peeling is spreading. Will be returning as defective. RIP
I’m actually really liking several of those cases from simplycarbonfiber. All of them really. I, like some others, don’t care for the logo on the phone but the alcatera leather one and the one that looks like slate or seashells or something doesn’t really show the logo.
The sides looks sorta grippy. Does anyone have more detailed pics of the sides?

Mine had the same rubber “bulge” you’re describing. I had the yellow version.
There is like a clear coating over the carbon and it does not show fingerprints.
When I had the Crashguard in black for the 8+ it had issues with a coating peeling. My wife uses the teal (?) blue version on her 8 and I have not noticed peeling on hers. She never changes cases though, if that matters.

Thanks. I think that’s the problem. If you never take the case off which is probably what the majority of people do then it’s fine. But I take mine off several times a day to use it naked and clean it. It’s probably not something that Rhinoshield planned for.
Think I might give that a try. Might be worth the $3 restocking fee they charge if I return it. Plus shipping.... hmm.
I’ll take it if no one else’s does. Think I’m going to order? What about it were you not satisfied with? Grip? Check. No fingerprints? Check. Fit? Durable?

I'm low on case money at the moment but it's on my radar. Got rid of the Note 9 before I had much time with the case.
It's a thin case but a decent one. I might order the iPhone Max one in a day or two if you all want to hold off.
Don't know if I want to order the regular or armor version.

You know how TPU sometimes turns grey with smudges? It’s doing that after a couple hours. Hard to wipe off.
I just got the sena dean leather case and it’s very nice, equal or better than the apple leather. It’s a darker color than the apple saddle brown case and the leather is more textured and has a nicer, softer and more gripping feel to it. I am undecided whether im going to keep my apple leather case or return it but I’m definitely keeping this sena.
So far the only protective case I’ve kept is the solidsuit. I don’t take it off every day, more like every week or so. Nothing else has buttons as good with the fit like it does, zero sag or flex at any part of it. Sorry I sound like I work for them, I m just surprised they aren’t more popular.

Pros:
- grippy sides
- tight fit on phone but easy to remove
- feels sturdy but not too bulky
- camera bump is nice
Cons:
- sometimes gets fingerprints if I’m extra oily but not that bad
- the magnetic mount it came with only sticks to car vents so I don’t really use it (could be a pro for some but not for me)
