Mouse support, access to external storage, multi-tasking that supports multiple instances of the same program - almost everything I really wanted.

He is "Mr. Apple" if he says it, then it is because it is true. He's the ultimate Apple fan but he doesn't make stuff up.
Do u think it will be all iPads that can use iOS 13 or just pro?

Wow this update is gonna be awesome. Not sure if I’d use the mouse aspect but just being able to plug drives in is great!! Can’t wait!!

If mouse support is actually a feature, Now have to decide whether to return my 11inch pro for a 12.9 and sell my 13” MBP. This would make the iPad a legitimate productivity machine for working on documents.

I haven’t seen a mouse in a coffee shop in years. Do people still actually use them with mobile devices like laptops and tablets? Not in our house. Not even in my kids schools. We don’t even issue mice with our company devices.

However, I’m not against having the option on an iPad. Options are cool.

Yes, I do use one with my laptop, always. I hate trackpads.

I'll absolutely keep my 15'' MBP but I'm now questioning my 11 Pro. I really like it, but with this boost in productivity, it might have to go and make room for the 12.9

I would only use it when sitting at a desk using the keyboard. Doesn't make sense for walking around or holding it in my lap. Best of both worlds.

There's gotta be a catch... There's always a catch with Apple...

I would say it was the cursor not looking like...well a cursor. It’s a giant circle with a dot in the middle.

Scroll didn’t work for me, and it felt a little laggy.

It’s a start I guess :)

This was on 12.9 iPad Pro 1tb and Bluetooth Citrix mouse that I use with jump desktop so know what it normally feels like.

Watched the whole keynote mouse support was not mentioned.

It’s an accessibility feature, so it was unlikely to be mentioned. Still needs some work imo, it probably isn’t what a lot of people are hoping for, but it’s a start.

That means it works with Bluetooth mouse vs USB as reported. That's great!

Any iPad. USB and BT mice are supported. Support is limited however... you cannot select text with the mouse.

I guess they really are trying to just have it as an accessibility option. I'll have to play with it for a while and see how it works.

Thank you for clarifying this! I kept reading that it’s only USB mice so this is fantastic. Can’t wait to use my Magic Mouse with my 10.5 Pro.
