If they all come with the bands then I’m hopelessly buying 3 or 4 I’m not quite sold on the smaller one regardless. And if it’s only one with all bands then no need to buy any other especially on top of having ‘all’ 5g bands it’ll have more premium features too

But seeing the rumors say that only the biggest iPhone can fit mmwave tech I’m hoping it’s true

I’m hoping the features are spread evenly across the flagship Pro models.

I’d like to know why people are opting for the Pro 6.1 over the non-Pro?
What exclusive feature/s are most appealing to them on the Pro version?

This is the first series where for me, the non-Pro is a serious option over the Pro.
IT's honestly going to depend on when they finally announce features. If Pro is just camera again, I might honestly just go 6.1 regular. Strong possibility of even passing this time if nothing too great is officially announced

The best thing about new iPhone releases is that you can get the "older" models for cheaper, and they will perform 95% as good as the new ones.
Exactly that. I’m planning on getting an iPhone 12 this year but it’ll be the first upgrade since the iPhone 6 in 2014 where I’ve bought a current device. When the iPhone 7 came out I went for the 6S which was nearly as good and last upgrade I went for an 8+ instead of the XS. These phones are so good these days you don’t really need the current version and many don’t bother.

After all these Leaks I’m going to really have to see if the iPhone has enough bells and whistles to make it a go for
Hopefully there’s something that the leakers missed

Same here, was 100% certain I was getting the pro max, already got a buyer for my xs max. ?

Leak after leak have been very disappointing. If nothing excites me, might put that money towards a 16” arm MacBook Pro with a few extra upgrades. ?

I was dead set on getting the 12 pro max now thinking about going normal 12 saving some money and not a chance I will pay 1k without 120hz and in 9 months time the next iphone 13 gets release..

That is another option I’ve got in mind. Save 1k in the process buying the non pro, easily get half of my money back or close to it. when the 13 pro comes out next year.

I'm going to get the 5.4' iPhone 12 unless the rumors of a 2021 iPhone SE 3rd generation with Edge to Edge 5.5" LCD screen, Touch ID in power button, A14, and 4G LTE for $359 (with veterans discount) firm up before I buy.

My understanding was a refreshed 8 Plus but okay.... I don't think there's any chance of a phone of your description after the 5.4" is released.

I was referring to this rumor from Jan. 2020 regarding a 2021 lower cost iPhone. Now that we know TouchID in the power button is a real feature from the new iPad Airs, Apple could save money by offering an edge to edge LCD screen instead of the more expensive OLED that the 12s will offer across the board and offering 4G LTE rather than 5G that the 12 will offer. The cost difference for Apple between the A13 and A14 SoC is probably small. I'd be willing to make these compromises to save $250 off the price of the iPhone 12 Mini.

Was really set on the smaller version, since my iPhone X at 6.1” has been perceived as just a tad to big.

However, two recent realizations has me 2nd guessing that decision:
  1. At work I sometimes edit photos in Lightroom mobile. A bigger screen is better than a small for this
  2. Typing is easier on bigger screens, specially with 29 char keyboards like the Norwegian
I’ve never used a phone bigger than 6.1”. Never as a daily driver so I am unsure on how it would feel. At the same time I often have to use the phone one handed, thus a smaller is better.

real first world problems going on here ? Might just get the smallest one, with bigger storage and in blue

We are hoping the 11 series drop enough in price to make that the best deal to upgrade for us. We won’t have 5G in our area for a couple years. But my 7+ is ready to be retired to a kid training phone rather than a heavy use pocket computer.
