If PWM is greatly improved then 12 Pro Max all day long. I'm not hopeful though....

I've again if PWM is an issue for me then I'll be faced with the dilemma - wait for SE Plus or switch to Android. ?

Yeah, I am definitely going 5.4” 12. The only reason I have an 11 now and not the 5.8” 11 Pro is because the camera differences were not worth the money. Still by far the best phone camera I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to get back into a smaller form factor phone. While I have gotten used to the 11’s size enough to tolerate it, I still look at it with all that empty space everywhere, and pine after a smaller form factor. I wish they did an original SE/5 sized phone with the new FaceID form factor even.

Since I refuse to buy a $1000 phone it will be the 12 or the 12 Max. I know that I WILL be buying one, but I'll have to see what they look like first.

Where is the option for none?
I’m happy with the XR I’m currently using and if the 12 is the first 5G iPhone, it would be a definite no for me.
After the mistake of buying early 3G and 4G phones from other brands, I’ll wait until the second or third 5G iPhone model.

Loved the form factors of my 3GS and the 6S, hate my current X, it’s too big to use one handed, it’s uncomfortable in a pocket, and I just can’t get on with FaceID.

Will be getting a 5.4” 12, unless it only has FaceID in which case I’ll pick up an SE2.

5.4” 12 will only have Face ID. 100% guaranteed.

Just curious, for those wanting the 6.1 or 6.7 iPhones, do you have a Apple Watch that you use separately from your phone? I know Apple Watch can’t do all the same things as a phone bit for me I would say I don’t need a bigger phone as I have an Apple Watch that I can take calls from and send messages etc. for reference I have the 11Pro & AW5

This is why I got the SE on the Walmart deal. 256 gig and the  watch series 5 together would be $650.

Pleasantly surprised by the 5.4 fan club here.

Really looking forward to going back to a smaller phone from my XR - but only if they’ve fixed PWM.

Else I’ll likely have to keep repairing this phone - or move to the 11 - until they can bring micro-LED to the iPhone.

Whichever one it will be space gray or black. I don’t mind this year’s midnight green but long to return to my usual SG. And it’ll be the pro max.

I will always buy the biggest possible phones each year. Looking forward to seeing what else is included apart from what has been rumoured. More ram will be a nice upgrade.

I can pay for the Pros, I just don't want to. The money will enable me to buy an apartment sooner. ? It's diminishing returns. There will be a AUD700 difference between non-Pro and Pro. 120Hz is nice, but not $700 nice. I want to see that tech on an iPad or TV instead. And with LiDAR I can map a room. Great. Nah. You have a great camera no matter what iPhone you buy.

The non-Pros are so far from gimped, less than ever. The current 11 is great on specs with ample RAM and the 12 models are a good deal better.

Yeah, it's Gen 1 5G hardware, but it's still such early days for 5G. Wait 4 or 5 years for decent coverage and performance anyway.

It all fits nicely with the compact 5.4" form factor. This will be my vote for more compact iPhones.

Interesting that you changed your username.

Anyways, By offering ‘midnight green’, it probably will be discontinued in place of some type of blue variant this year, it really is a huge marketing piece when consumers see new colors like this. But they’ve been doing this for years, with rose gold, gold, Jet black, matte black, etc.

I’m not planning on getting an iPhone 12, but if I was then I wouldn’t be making a decision on which one based on rumors. I decide once they are officially announced. so no vote from me until later this year.

When I do upgrade, I’m likely to get a “Max” model since going from a Plus-phone to the 5.8” has caused me cramping and lots more typing mistakes.
