Not sure what people will make of this. Haven't been wearing a watch for the last 12 months, opting for a Withings Pulse activity tracker that told the time at the press of a button and needed charging at least once a week. This steps things up a notch!

Wow, so I just Googled this as I haven't seen it before... So its basically a mechanical watch, that syncs with your phone, tracks activity, battery lasts 8 months, changes time-zones automatically, and is water resistant. And it looks good!

How do you like it so far? Would love to see a mini review on it.

Need advice. I have some old watches I've been sitting on and really don't know what to do with them. I've had them for years and never really wore them the past several years. Do you think these are worth selling, or am I better of just giving them away? There's nothing special here:

Nothing of any real value I'm afraid fella. You might get a few bucks for them on eBay but nothing substantial.

Who's got a nice watch?

As I thought. I'll just EBay them to add to my slush fund. Probably not even worth me doing that.

This is a pretty fair review, although some of the issues they have with the watch don't give me any concerns - http://www.wareable.com/withings/withings-activite-review

The main issues I had with the Withings Pulse were (1) it didn't look like a watch (2) needed to be charged at least weekly (3) needed to press a button to see the time (4) needed to press a number of buttons to activate sleep mode. None of these are an issue with the Activite! Still not sure whether it justifies the hefty price tag, although alongside the Withings Scales, Blood Pressure Monitor and App the Withings environment as helped me loose over 3st and more importantly maintain it.

The Seiko 5 has arrived. Probably will be my casual wear watch. The Amazon pics don't do it justice. Feels heavy, and the dial is beautiful in person. Best $99 spent ever.

That was quick.

Love the Seiko 5:)

How well do the luminous hands/numbers work at night? Say you awoke at 5am, would you still be able to tell the time?

They are good, it does fade a bit over night but is still very readable when I wake up at 6:45.

This is what it looks like at lights out but it's a lot brighter and clearer in real life.

Anyone of the Tissot PRC200 Automatic Chrono with stainless steel bracelet?

I think the Visodate is going back. I've given it a week, but I'm just not feeling it.

Not that particular Tissot, but I did have a Tissot which was classic in appearance with Breguet style numerals, blue steeled hands, cream face, and so on. A lovely watch which I bought a decade ago.

Decided to go with the Diesel watch. Pretty much the first watch I've ever owned. I love the styling and color. The build quality feels very solid. It's a tight, dense feeling watch. I only wish it was a bit thinner, otherwise I really like it! Now I just have to get used to having this thing on my wrist all day, lol. All in all not too bad for $75.
