Macrumors users are always the saltiest mfers around. I don't know if you guys are old and jaded but you sound old and jaded. I think this was a good keynote and there are quite a few new exciting features especially on iPad. Love the new UI but I'm a bit underwhelmed simply because I kinda expected to have more physicality to it no doubt influenced by the essay from the Halide designer.

It’s great to see my 2019 MacBook Pro dropped from macOS 26. The way they drop Mac support never made sense to m.

Well built in clipboard history is nice. I don't pay $20 a month for ChatGPT, my iPhone is a 14, I don't have CarPlay as I like to look at the road, and while it would be fun to play with I don't have a Vision Pro so not much else for me.

Haven't been this excited for Fall updates for at least half a decade.

I know none of the updates they showed were "revolutionary", but it sure looks like Apple hasn't lost its sense of fun, and it all looked fun to me.

In the Fall, I'll be playing with my Apple products again.

All with no need to buy new ones!

Sometimes I come away from these keynotes and I just feel like it's no big deal. This time I went into it feeling like it would be just a waste of time, but I actually liked it. The described OS changes "liquid glass" sound cool but I'll have to wait till I install the dev preview before making a judgement. Still kind of excited.

Who else is happy we didn't hear AI AI AI AI constantly?

Still... wish these keynotes were not prerecorded.

Ah yes, welcome to MacRumors...filled with people who hate Apple and don't use their products, but come here anyway to say how bad everything is. It's been quite a while since I was here, but you haven't changed at all.
When people stop caring, they stop complaining. When they stop caring, the platform is dead. You and Apple should be glad people care enough about these changes to talk about them, even if it is to complain.

I'm not trying to be snarky but where was the fun?

Maybe I am old. The new UI design does not excite me anymore. Microsoft tired with Aero glass with Windows Vista and Windows 7 before. Linux has transparency for very long time.

iPadOS has been long underwhelming at the best. It is still closed OS as iOS. There is no way to install external hardwares without iPadOS, such as local printer. There still not a way to manually load application under iPadOS etc.
