Same procedure here. Got tracking number. Should arrive Tuesday.

Clearly they linked it as repair to the iMac Pro in my account. They checked my complete address. It seems that a serial number itself is not sufficient.

Thanks to the OP.

Mine arrived today. Yes, thanks to the OP! This forum has saved me $1000 and got me a matching trackpad.

Hi! Wanted to make a separate thread cause it's pretty important info :)

I've bought my iMac 3 days ago with a Space Grey mouse and keyboard but not a trackpad. Today I've decided to buy the trackpad and I've contacted Apple Support to find out if that is possible. So it turns out...

Yes you can order it from Apple Support! Just select your iMac Pro as a product and open a chat and tell them you want to get a Space Grey mouse/keyboard/trackpad, they'll send you a web payment link and ask for shipping details and will send it to you!

And if something happens to any of the Space Grey accessories, you can reorder them the same way:

Yay! :D
They'll ask for your serial number when you order the replacement.

Apple Support just told me that there was no stock for replacement parts at the moment and asked me to check back later. :-(

They probably underestimated the amount of defect ones they had to replace . Especially over the course of last week ...

Update: There is actually stock for the keyboard and trackpad. My order will be shipping to me soon.

The support rep initially thought it was the normal silver trackpad. I had to specifically tell her that I need the Space Grey one for the iMac Pro.

Just got an order in. Thanks to everyone in this thread.

Update: Seems the Magic Mouse is out of stock. Trackpad and Keyboard still in stock.

Thank you so much for starting this thread! Just got my service order of a SG trackpad put in and I'm stoked. Wasn't able to get a trackpad to start with because I purchased the machine during MicroCenter's incredible $3999 deal.

Side note, anybody know why it calculates/charges taxes higher than what the actual taxes should be? EG my taxes were $13 when they should be $9.

I think the original poster made this up... when you access support for iMac pro it does not put you through to a specific team. Secondly support always pass you through to sales who say not available... I think the origami poster photoshopped and made a fool out of us.

Please supply a screenshot of the order specifying the above? As I have tried and multiple others...

Same for me..

Well when I asked service support for a replacement keyboard as mine is faulty. They said we can send the white version and make a note on system..so that whenever the space grey is available we will then look to replace that..so I don’t think the OP is correct.

WELL I WILL EAT MY WORDS :) apologies to OP, HOW!!! hats off to you!!!!

Already received mine :) WOOHOOO

TSK TSK TSK boomvader selling your spoils on eBay!!! Disappointing, here I was thinking im helping genuine iMac Pro users with sourcing parts to complete their collection, but instead people are capitalising on this...

TSK TSK TSK indeed
Yes it’s boomvader he was asking about part numbers a few days ago.. feel like the iMac pro moniker is being harmed by owners... oh well

If anyone is harming 'the iMac pro moniker' it is you. You were all over the OP for his helpful post and called him a liar. Then you replied to another user inquiring about a part number with "Already received mine... WOOHOOO" but with no part number. Now you want to take issue with me... SMH.

That listing is definitely mine. I have a few extras to sell after we ended up going a different route with our input devices in our office. When supply is down and demand is up a premium can be had on a product or service. Basic economics.

No need to make excuses about change of X Y Z , just say I wanted to make money. Simple. Just walk me through this, you come onto Macrumors post enquiring about part numbers etc.. You then go to the effort of ordering further supplies and in the meanwhile your office decides a different route for input devices ROFL...just return them to apple, you have 14 days..

Anyway I don't wish to become some troll, just saying call a spade a spade.. Also I don't think you are the only one... its capitalism baby.. see an opportunity.. take advantage..

Peace and blessings, I sincerely apologise if I caused offence.

Mine is still preparing for shipment. Maybe because I'm not located in the US. :)

Thanks. Guess that's why my order has been in this stage for a few days already.
