Hey... Maybe you're right but I had this iPhone and the same Exchange address from 2.0 and it never removed the Never option. But I also saw that other people (mostly with iPhone 2G) have the option so they can select (also my colleagues that use the same Exchange Server)... It's strange![]()
1. Jailbreak your iPhone
2. Open /var/mobile/Library/com.apple.springboard.plist in Property List Editor and add "SBShowBatteryLevel" with a Boolean "Yes"
Then restart your iPhone. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, then you're not ready for a battery percent indicator.
Under the new Messages tab in settings you can FINALLY turn off message previews! I'm sooooo happy for this one! Then, when you recieve a message, it just displays the persons name and "text message."
EDIT: Under the iPod settings you can no longer select the audio book speed? Did this get eliminated or moved?
Sorry if this is a repeat....
When in the calculator if you turn it to landscape mode it turns into a scientific calculator.
As u can see by the attached picture there is an icon by the battery that i have not seen in any firmwires before. I'd like to know what it means.
I thought that having the battery percentage was a feature in 3.0 but I can't find it anywhere, am I mistaken or just stupid?

Apologies as I don't want to read 31 pages, but how do I get a percentage indicator of my battery?
Go to Settings/General/Usage there you will see "Battery Percentage".

Maybe I am blind, but I do not see it. Fail.
It only shows up if you are using a 3GS.
Maybe I am blind, but I do not see it. Fail.
It is only available on the 3GS.
This isn't a feature, and if I must delete this post I fully understand, but could a jailbroken iPhone user search for the shake-to-shuffle bleep noise and extract it to be uploaded? I'd really be thankful.
If this doesn't belong here (which it probably doesn't, but making a new thread just causes clutter) please acknowledge it.![]()
Just read through all 37 pages...I'm a newbie and have a question--can you set the SMS alert to vibrate only, even when the phone is in ring mode?
I've changed my settings to Settings>Sounds>New Text Message>None, but would still like the phone to vibrate only when a new SMS arrives.
