Update! I just checked my Apple Watch Ultra battery health and still at 100% 🔋 💪. Yup! Still upgrading this year!

Not upgrading my watch for at least another year. No need. Ultra is just fine and I don't need a color change for the sake of a new color.

Also not a fan of the rampant consumerism these days. It's killing our planet. Will be interesting to see how everyone feels in a couple years when they can't stand the heat anymore. 😵

I won’t replace this year as my battery is at 100% health still, and there’s not really anything to entice me enough. But plan to upgrade next year. The black will look nice.

I don’t think we are getting new health futures this year but blood pressure measurement might come next year. Also, we are still years away for blood glucose level measurement.

for me the blood pressure measurement would be nice on meds but meds and diet and I might be getting of a lot of the meds doctor says for next visit. So for me a feature I would love and then jump immediately for on my next Ultra

Not on my part now you are being antagonistic almost about my stating my own preference it sure was not agains that poster, sorry that one can not state an opinion here and be judged negatively. And if you look at my other posts I just shared on this thread I said for some things I like colors (like purple) but prefer metallic on my watches. But that others who want colors are blessed by having choice from Apple..

I’ll be interested to see the durability of the finish. If it’s anything like my black 14PM that scratches from a little dust in my case, it’s going to look terrible after a matter of days. On the other hand, my midnight series 8 is still flawless after almost a year.

Why are the bezels so large on the AWU? I think I will wait until they shrink in half or more. When you have any watch face with photos it is especially noticeable.

Because on a ruggedized watch you probably want bezels so it's less likely the screen cracks on contact with the edge?

It’s there but does not bother me much have to tilt wrist to notice. I did not like choices to even use it personally and tend to not use it.

I‘m surprised it doesn’t include voice memos as an option. I use that all the time on my Series 5. Would be nice to have a one-button shortcut.

The Bezel referred to is the not the raised edge, it's the distance between the edge of the glass and the edge of the display.

This is easily illustrated by looking at the S3 vs S8 and the large black area on the S3. The AWU also has a larger bezel than the S8.

Yeah, when the Ultra was released last year I was scoffing at the fact that it was not available in a darker finish as an option.

I would probably upgrade just for the darker version but it concerns me that Apple tested it and wasn't happy with the way it looked.

If/when they do release a different color, they will be happy with it.

The Apple Watch Ultra's silly giant orange button matches the Dial of the Watch. I do agree with you tho. The orange color needs to be updated or changed. Maybe in Product Red?

This has probably been pointed out to you already, but the orange is International Orange, and very much intentional. They aren't going to change it. If a person doesn't like the orange, and doesn't understand why it was used, the ultra is probably not the watch for them.
