Still has an issue with the password auto fill in most apps. Not sure if it’s the apps that need updating or Apple need to fix this however when trying the first time, doing Touch ID to open my list of passwords I just get a black screen. Come out of the app and straight back into the app and it works fine on a second try every time

It’s really annoying and as I went for a clean setup I’ve been adding apps back and using this a lot.

Magnifier still hangs up or doesn’t work, or can’t exit once it does work. Didn’t work in 11 and the same in 11.01. I actually use the damn thing all the time! This is lame.

I’m guessing it may go away with the X any way since triple Home button won’t work.

I have the exact same problem. The magnifier has been over of there most useful features since the previous update but now it's absolutely unusable.

Hope there's a fix to this soon.

How's the 6S Plus running 11.0.1?
So far it is good for me. I have rarely had issues with my phone tbh, although with earlier beta's I had some hiccups. This update is not causing any issues for me yet. Today is my first full day so I will report back later with my thoughts.
Currently my phone shows usage of 32 mins with standby of 2hrs 39mins, the biggest hitter being Facebook for 1.1hrs screen and 5 mins background. Battery is showing 95%
Edited to say the Facebook info reflects a 24hr period.

Want to try to be more engaging in the conversation? I am not the only one here who has claimed this. I love how you always single me out.

I was agreeing with you. Maybe I could have made that more clear.

I don't recall ever singling you out, though I do recognise you from the Speculation thread.

I apologise for any undue stress I might have caused you.

Here’s a bug that’s been present since at least the GM and was not fixed in 11.0.1: when using 3D Touch on Settings icon to shortcut to the WiFi screen, the “Choose a network” section doesn’t activate and available SSIDs won’t ever show up. You must first take some action like toggle WiFi or select “Other” and cancel back out. Then the activity spinner is visible and SSIDs start showing up.
Yes, it is true. Tested myself and always, I repeat, always happens. This is a bug that exists for several betas.

So far the battery life on my iPhone 7 is amazing although i had a good battery life on ios 11 as well but this update has made it much better

Hi, that is about the same as I get (iPhone 7 32GB on 11.0.1). falls to 98-97% after 1 hr 15 mins or so (usage). Have no complaints, the battery charge is just fine all day and well into the evening (on 11.0).

Weird, I didn’t have any Home Button lag on 11.0, but 11.0.1 introduced it to my device (iPhone 7). Here are some observations between the two updates:

Scrolling
11.0 - No lag
11.0.1 - No lag

3D Touch stutter
11.0 - Stutter only on Home Screen icons
11.0.1 - Same as above

Battery life
11.0 - As good as 10.3.3 (first 3 days omitted from testing)
11.0.1 - Too early to tell

Wireless performance
11.0 - Occasional issues connecting to 5GHz Wi-Fi networks
11.0.1 - Issue seems to have been fixed

Lag when closing apps
11.0 - None
11.0.1 - Approx. 1 second delay after pressing Home Button

App crashes
11.0 - Certain apps such as Discord would crash if kept in the background
11.0.1 - Issue seems to have been fixed

Microsoft Exchange compatibility
11.0 - Broken
11.0.1 - Issue seems to have been fixed

I don't know why Apple finds it so hard, as it's looks to be well under 1MB of plain text, but why oh why oh why can't they get Text Replacements successfully synchronising between devices logged into the same iCloud account (with iCloud Drive enabled)?

Why is it so difficult?

It's never worked properly. For years.

I accidentally fixed that by manually deleting the iCloud-synced text replacement folder via a Mac.

Do you mean the "Mobile Documents" folder? That worked for me once, but not recently. It's so random.
Yes, I can’t remember which exact folder inside Mobile Documents I deleted, but it was a while back so this method might not work any more anyway.
[doublepost=1506508674][/doublepost]I’m experiencing some issues with rearranging app icons on the Home Screen, not sure if anyone else is getting these:

- Apps cannot be taken out of a folder. Sometimes when attempting to drag an app icon out of a folder, the folder view remains open and will prevent the icon from being moved back to the main Home Screen. This happens intermittently.
- Touch sensitivity is hit and miss, sometimes app icons simply won’t detect touches and cannot be moved. Other times I have to hold an icon to enter edit mode, then release the icon before being able to drag it. Hold-and-drag is sometimes broken.

Example of the folder bug:

Tapping outside of the folder with a second finger only occasionally works.

Anyone test this build with carplay yet? I had pretty major issues with the gm build not working with carplay and rolled back to 10.

11.01 on my 7 + is almost no different than 11..

I have no idea what other people are seeing. Its the same thing.Home button lag is there...

Cant trust anyone until you do it yourself now a days.

Reporting has stated this was a MR primarily to resolve the issue with Exchange services (Office365, Outlook.com, Exchange 2016) not working on iOS 11. Not much else in there.

I suspect they'll start hitting the other lingering annoyances now that they have gotten IOS 11 out to the public. That was their main focus for at least the last 5 beta releases. (Most regular users won't notice or really care about the home button lag that seems to drive a few perfectionists in here crazy.)

The resprings and freezes with my 6s stopped after I updated to 0.1. Glad they fixed that. Cant wait to see more improvements later today.

My app switcher animation isn't right. When sliding through the list of open apps it's as if they are stuck in sand. They are slow to swipe through. I can only swipe and reach the next app, instead of swiping through a few apps at a time. Anyone else have this issue? fix other than a reinstall?
This is normal behavior if you have Reduce Motion turned on.

The Home Button/Raise to Wake delay issue seems to be resolved on my 7+ after the 11.0.1 update. It hasn't happened since I updated the phone late last night. The battery drain still exists.

Can you explain then why your 8+ isn't stuttering and 7+ stutters?

Home button delay too? 8+ doesn't have it now on 11.0.1 and 7+ has it

Yeah its actually pretty easy. Occam's Razor. The 8 Plus is more optimized on iOS 11 than the 7 Plus because its the software that came with the device and probably had more internal testing. Once 11.1/11.2 are fully released to the public, their optimization levels will probably be on par.

It was no different last year and the year before. Previous devices always run a little worse up front but get better as the iOS version gets polished.
