Thanks for the suggestion. No I haven’t but I’m not using an iCloud email account, rather an outlook.com and Office 365 Business (Exchange) so don’t think it would matter.

Edit: sorry yes I have on my iPhone, restored, wiped etc and the mail app is still as useless as a chocolate teapot.
Do you have them linked to your iCloud? If so, then try my suggestion and see if that works

It‘s not usual to have future releases be more buggy than the one closing in on it‘s deadline. The bleeding edge feature updates for some of my companies products focus solely on the new features and neglect the overall quality of the app cause that‘s handled separately on another branch. That‘s why 13.1 could theoretically be less stable than 13.0, cause they haven‘t gotten around to porting the fixes over.
Yeah, Apple did a weird thing with 13.0 and 13.1, but it is almost certainly because they ran out of time. They needed a build to put on devices, and Beta 8 honestly wasn't bad (it's probably the GM, they just haven't announced it yet). But it's also not only unexpected, but normal for beta versions of new software to be bugger than the version of the software they're replacing. When they change things up, bugs happen. Especially since they're reintroducing features that were removed -because- of bugs.

I suggest you let that one marinate.

I could watch kids get cropped out of pics all day. I don't give a crap about your kids.

Don’t mind admitting I am absolutely gobsmacked that the mail app is still the useless abortion it was back in the early days of iOS 13.0 beta... empty lists, no badges, timeout errors. Jebus!!!
I understand that many are having issues with the mail app. However, on both my iPP 11 and XR the mail app is working without issue. Have no idea why it is being such a problem for others. I did do a clean install on both devices back around 13 b3. Could be the difference.

I didn't suggest they were releasing in a week, there is a week until the launch. From that point it is typically a GM for a week before full release.

There are unlikely to be big changes between this week and next. See my comment above on PR
You said "one week to go" - thus, implying that this will be released in the next week or so. This is also iOS 13.1, not iOS 13.0. They are different software versions. 13.0 will be released as GM in roughly a week.

Mail app works okay here too. But it has annoying issues like delayed folder refreshing (need to back out and back into a folder to update), happens to open into a random inbox or mail, searching on imap servers crashes a lot or doesn‘t load message content at all here.

How do you feel about it versus 3D touch? This is probably the biggest thing holding me back from leaving 12.4.

I was never a super fan of peek and pop, as it seemed too difficult to accurately get the correct pressure level to invoke the one you wanted. Haptic touch seems very useful and invokes consistently. Plus, now its common to all devices, which will hopefully lead more developers to support it across the product lineup.

13.0 will most likely appear as default on new devices currently in production, 13.1 will most likely be released as the main GM

I would say that's not OK then? I'm having the same issues too

Based on what proof or evidence? This is nothing that suggests this. iOS 13.1 is only at beta 2, it will need at least one or two more betas.

I wasn’t able to delete watch faces in the app using the edit button. That is fixed now.
