I'm also experiencing the heat/battery loss issue on the public beta for 15.1b3. I've only ever done the OTA install. Where can I go to download the IPSW?
IPSW for 15.1 b3 Beta IPSW
or 15.0.1? IPSW
I did IPSW 15.1 b3 last night. It got stuck at "verifying updated iphone software". Ended up doing retore twice to revive my 13 Pro, but then heat/battery loss went away.

This site didn’t fix dropping cell signal or maintaining a good connection on TMo’s 5GUC.

Any idea if we'll see Apple reverse course on Find My constantly pinging and bringing up the Location Services icon in the status bar in 15.1?

I wanted to ask about the battery of the iPhone 13 Pro. Apple promises about 8 hours of autonomy in the Pro versions, we all agree that if we deactivate data, bluetooth and use only wifi and play videos, we use whatsapp and social networks those 8 hours can be comply, but in my daily use, with half an hour of face time, calls, social networks, whatsapp, clash royale and some other application does not reach me more than 6 hours and a half or even 7 hours if I rush it. Is my battery bad or is it normal with the applications and use that I give it? It is true that in video and multimedia playback it consumes much less, but with a little facetime and the odd game, autonomy is greatly reduced ...

Nobody seems to be posting about the remaining issue or bugs in the first Wiki post?

Has the touch screen bug been fixed where for example YouTube does not respond to touches after searching?

YouTube app still has issues but if you go to YouTube.com through your browser there is no issues ..

there are a mountain of things you can personally tweak to help battery. Like, turn off background app refresh, fetch instead of push emails, screen brightness, amount of notifications on your lock screen etc etc… the variables that come into this are so uniquely extensive to guide you on your battery. If you have something to compare to like you’ve come up from a 12 to 13 and the 13 isn’t giving you longer battery life, maybe worth a call to apple and they will remotely check over your phone. But asking on here is a needle in a haystack really because everyone’s behaviours, country of origin blah blah are so different.

UK based: I get 10 hrs out of my 12. It’s normally 5.30ish mins on screen time when I hit 50% and then do a full charge.

on my iphone 11 pro, in the "modem firmware" section in the settings I get version 3.00.00 and the operator version is 48 for orange spain in this beta. In the previous one it was 47.5 if I remember correctly.

I'm experiencing the phone issue where it drops calls randomly, very annoying. also the speakerphone button does not stay lit up, even though it stays on speakerphone. reported.

also if you lock your screen when on a call, it hangs up the phone. I don't remember this being the case before?

Well I loaded 15.1 b3 from the IPSW to my 13 Pro Max and it seemed to do OK yesterday. I put it on the charger when I went to bed, and when I woke up it was at 100% but warm. It stayed warm, and with only light usage the battery was down to 72% in 1 1/2 hours. So I guess I'll be going back to 15.1b2 later this morning. Something still isn't right.

AirPods Pro users, have you managed to get yours updated to the new firmware, mine are not updating, I don’t know if it’s because I just upgraded to the 13PM.

sounds sensible. If your phone isn’t liking the clean install of iOS via IPSW better to wait for b4/RC Tuesday/Wednesday.

I would agree if you already did a hard reset and have waited the 24 hours to let your phone finish indexing and still having the issue then maybe its best to go back until next release

Mine updated within about 45 minutes of the announcement. Some part of the following sequence triggered the update: I plugged them into power, opened the carrying case for, made sure they were connected via Bluetooth to my phone, and wore them briefly. Set them aside in the case (plugged in) and 45 minutes or so later they were updated.

I had filed feedback on the erratic storage reporting issue in settings app as well as iTunes.
The status shows fix identified for a future OS update. this is as on date.
this implies the fix is not expected in 15.1.
any ideas ?
Comments anyone?

i added my battery performance just as a comparison to help you judge if your 13 pro battery should be better.

like I said, needle in a haystack buddy.
