I prefer not to have 3D Touch, I don't like how it's inconsistent and the way the home page shortcuts are mostly things I don't want to tap so have to open the app anyway. It's a personal thing but if something doesn't work, is broken or clumsy, I prefer not to have it so when I had 3D Touch I turned it off.

Dumb question in 3.....2.....1......

Any way to be able to view contact photo when you receive texts in iMessages ??

Sorry just got the phone yesterday.

Thanks.

I just wish it had the 2nd gen TouchID sensor. The TouchID login is so unreliable on my iPhone 6 and so amazingly fast on my 2016 MacBook Pro.

2nd get Touch ID and 3D Touch would be nice, but considering SE owners get a repackaged 6S in a 4" body, it's a win win since Apple can sell more phones and customers can get a reliable product at a smaller form factor and without spending as much for a 6S or 7.

i have iphone 7+ and SE. I still prefer the SE over the 7+ if I don't do much media consumption on it.

I know I'm going to look like a fool for admitting this, but I think I have seller's remorse. I sold the SE shortly after I bought the 7, and now I feel like I never should have sold it.

So after 1 week I returned my iPhone SE. I liked it a lot but I received an iPhone 6 64 GB for free and had to save the money. I'm bummed but was glad I could pocket the money to save for a 2017 iPhone.

Got a 32GB SE on a great deal recently. The SE is a pretty big upgrade from my 16GB iPhone 6. Double the storage, double the ram and roughly double the performance. Plus, I can now utilize band 12 on T Mobile, so better coverage as well.

I don't mind the smaller screen as my phone usage has gone down quite a bit since I got an Apple Watch.

My daily driver is a Nexus 6P (5.7" screen). I occasionally will pick up my iPhone 5 (same 4.0" screen as your SE) and think "Holy moly. I can actually use the entire screen without ever having to readjust my grip? This is niiiiiice." I can definitely see where you're coming from. :)

I'm always torn between 7+ and SE If I had to go with one

Fortunately I don't but the fact that SE is a consideration next to the flagship device, is something

Just looks too dated now imo. Add in the fact the screen is too small to consume content for any period of time and I'm surprised it's so popular on a hardcore Apple forum.

My sister recently bought one and I was surprised how fast and snappy it was. I have gotten used to bigger sizes now but its still a great phone.

I upgraded to a 128GB SE from a 64GB 5s a few weeks ago and I love it. The 5s works well enough, but I couldn't pass up the increased storage and Apple Pay on the SE. I'll be keeping the 5s as a backup. I tried one of the bigger iPhones for several months but concluded I just love small phones and I went back.

I think the design is classic. When I compare it to my friends' newer iPhones, I think the SE looks so much better and timeless. But I agree that it's too small to consume content for longer periods of time. If other SE owners are like me though, they prefer switching to an iPad for longer consumption anyway. To me a phone is just for quick tasks or audio.

I love my 64Gb SE. I am just like you, when I need to consume media for long time, I just switch to my iPad. I used to do the same when I had a 6S Plus.

I got a 64GB SE several weeks ago before from T-Mobile. I didn't need the 128GB because I really haven't been listening to a lot of music on my phone other then Apple Music and I use my iPod Classic in my car.

I still haven't really used the SE as my daily phone yet because I have my Apple watches paired with my 6S+. I could pair them to the SE but I like the bigger screen on the 6S+ for many apps still.

I also still have a 5S. And a 6S. And a 6+.

I wanted to buy SE but it's selling around $$225-250 in mint condition and 6s is available for around $325-350, so buying SE (though I love the screen size) doesn't make any financial sense for me as when it's time to upgrade 6s is going to fetch way more than the current difference between the two.

If I can get SE for $175 I would jump at the chance.

Hi All. I didn't read all the threads so I don't know if anyone already mentioned this change. Over the last several years the internet as become much more mobile phone friendly therefore viewing the internet on a small phone is many times better now than just several years ago. Remember when yo had to zoom in and find the login boxes at a website ? Ugh!

Heck that's a 100 cheaper and it's basically there same specs, just smaller screen.

Your argument doesn't make any sense. I'd gladly pay a $100 more than the 6s for the SE if it had the exact same features. You either want a smaller screen or you don't. And you get it for $100 less.

When I buy a phone, I'm looking for the thing that serves me the best for the price -- I'm not thinking about the resale value.
