Pwnage 3.0 - Bugs/Problems/Success stories

Ok, the update process itself worked like a charm, BUT 3.0 is really laggy for me. Loading apps, switching between screens is really choppy and unsmooth.
What is your experience?
I'm really disappointed at the moment. Is that normal or should I try to reinstall the firmware?

So my phone is running 3.0. It's jailbroken. I know it works. I was using it for awhile.
I tried installing some updates via Cydia and it froze. I did a reset (home + power buttons) and now it's stuck on the Pineapple logo.
It's been like this for 15 minutes now.
What do I do???

Weather app and Stocks app stopped working (won't update). They were both working for me on 3.0 before jailbroken.
SB settings works OK, Cydia slower, iReboot app no longer works, YouTube works, Maps works OK and so does find location.
Winterboard works.
Things seem slower. Hitting home button seems to have a delayed response.

I am Watching the thread to see what is happening. I have not jb the 3.0 yet, but I can confirm that on a non-jb phone the weather and stock apps do not work. i also have two phones... one has previously been jb and the other not.... the weather and stocks do not work on either.... sounds like apple needs to come out with 3.1 real fast.....LOL... or at least 3.01
yeah...it sounds like this is all working pretty ****** based off all the replies in the thread.
maybe wait until apple releases an update or something..

weridest thing just happened? i downloaded a few stuff from icy and then just downloaded one app. the app didnt show up so i thought let me soft reset and when it turned on all my apps i had prior to the restart disappeared but the one i just downloaded came...anyone else have weird problems like that?
fml I have to redo the jailbreak 'cause I didn't uncheck the "activate" box. This is turning out to be a huge pain in the ass

where do I start to upgrade and jailbreak to 3.0?
restore, update 3.0 through itunes, then jailbreak with pwnage 3.0, and then sync to old backup?

Update...... okay, both of my phones finally updated and the stock and weather apps apear to be working.... we will have to see how well this works, but they were updating for a few minutes.
ok so i have used pwnagetool to build the .ipsw, no problem, but when i restore through itunes it is not picking up the new .ipsw and only giving me the option to restore from the non-jailbroken backup!
am i supposed to move the .ipsw from my desktop to somewhere else??

you have to option-click on the restore button to be able to choose the jailbroken ipsw

ok things seem to be going much smoother on this (3rd?) attempt... I'm now activated properly, cydia seems to be faster and less crashy... syncing everything back over before I play around with it
Zero issues so far for me, running great. Just installed the MI for 3.0 beta 5 and now everything is as it should be.

I couldn't restore with the ipsw in DFU. Kept getting a 1600 error. I tried to restore in restore mode. I got a 1604 error then.
I restored normally and started as a new phone. Then I went to DFU mode and restored with the jailbroken .ipsw and then restored with my backup and everything worked.
I've used cydia and the phone for a few hours now with no problems.
