iPhone 12 Pro 128GB Pacific Blue. JOD upgrade cost me $249.99 down plus tax for super well qualified. They have killed JOD. This will be my final JOD. Just gonna pay it off this time. But was worth the upgrade from my iPhone 11. Still was cheaper than paying off the remaining 5 months plus the buyout and then rating the in, I would've paid a lot more today...

Damn JOD is trash. I got it last year thinking it would be a benefit for someone who likes to upgrade yearly. I have a buy option for 180 or so..should I just pay it off and trade it in with T-Mobile or apple? Or should I just “jump” to the 12 pro max when they are available.

The rest of my fam is on Verizon and they just pay taxes on the device + monthly installments

Does anyone know how T-mobile sends the new phones as far as the SIM situation?

I would prefer to have my line moved to the internal eSIM in the phone so that my physical SIM slot will stay available for international travel. (I understand that I'd have to get the phone unlocked first to do this).

Do they just expect me to move my current physical SIM over from my iPhoneX? I doubt this since I don't have a new 5G SIM. Or do they send a new 5G physical SIM in the phone that gets activated? If this, how do I move the service to the eSIM or will I have a choice as I activate the phone?
It will come installed with a SIM installed and activated to your account. However if you already have an eSIM on an iPhone you restore to this new device it will ask if you want to set up the same eSIM while you activate the phone. If it’s a new eSIM request for you, you need to get that set up by TMobile once you have the phone active.

so technically since sprint and T-Mobile are now one company, I’ll post this here for anyone else that did priority status reservations via the sprint app..

It’s looking like ALL Pacific Blue versions are delayed till 11/3 ship. Which sucks cause of course I ordered pacific blue

I got my Blue Pacific 12 Pro 256GB ordered with a ship date of 10/23-10/23 but when the order email came 5 minutes after checkout, my ship date is now 10/24-11/02.

Hoping it’s just a fluke. Ordered my case and MagSafe charger off Apple too.
I ordered a 128GB Gold with a 10/23-10/23 ship date too, but when email came a minute later, it said Nov 3-Nov 9. (2-3 day free shipping on my order, btw.) I am really hoping for it to still make it to me next Friday.

My Sprint orders only show "Pending" when I check the order number. I guess we will see.

Did you receive confirmation email? Well... I may need to replace the credit card information as the card doesn't provide cell phone protection plan.

T-Mobile called 2 times in person. I didn't need to talk over the phone with AT&T and Verizon. Welcome back '1990 experience. While I was talking with the representative, I could change the credit card information. I received 5 emails; order received, service agreement, trade-in initiated, e-sign, and order documents.

I did the priority reservation for a blue 128 GB 12 Pro through Sprint. Completed the order this morning on their app, which was very easy. I just received an email update saying that the phone is supposed to ship between 11/03/2020-11/09/2020. Hope this is a conservative estimate :|

If not, so much for the "priority" reservation system at Sprint.

I did Pacific Blue on JOD through t-Mobile at 745am eastern this morning and I still got 10/23 as date. (yes T-Mobile usually starts preorders early, like 15 minutes earlier so always call early...)

even tho T-Mobile and sprint have merged and are technically one company..the billing systems and ordering systems seem to be still in the process of being unified as such I think the stocks on hand are different also..u may very well still have a 10/23 ship date from TMobile but sprint app reservations and the sprint tracking site still show all colors of the 12 pro not graphite as delayed

Had a terrible time with the TMobile website here in europe- took 3 hours before I could order, ordered a Pacific Blue Pro 128gb. There isn't a delivery estimate on the confirmation email, so we'll see how long it takes. Not feeling optimistic, but maybe I'll be surprised.

There aren't many times I miss living in the US, but Apple launches are one of them :)

Same exact thing happened to me, same exact phone (12 Pro, Pacific Blue, 256Gb). Order placed minutes after pre-orders opened up, saw 10/23 ship date, then got the 10/24-11/2 estimated ship date after the fact. Kind of a bummer.

For clarity, can you share with us which company you ordered from (T-Mo/Sprint/Apple), and which method? (Call-in, My T-Mobile, Twitter/etc.)? It will be more useful for people that come looking for information if we can provide that clarity and we can all begin to form a picture of what's happening in the grand scheme of things that way.

I’m a sprint customer of 5+ years. I feel I am eligible for the $200 loyalty credit, but did not see it during Check in this morning on the sprint app payment options. i only saw the trade-in deal ($215 in monthly credits for my iPhone 6). I tried talking to two different chat reps as well as over the phone, but they say the deal is not on my account, and I’m only eligible for what’s on my account. Has anyone experienced similar and have any advice on what to do next?

Hey folks that did JOD, especially those going from a iPhone 11 Pro to 12 or 12 pro, what was your experience in upgrading? & did you keep JOD.

Going for a max next month and trying to figure out my plan. Thank you in advanced!

It was easy, JOD from iPhone 11 128GB to iPhone 12 Pro 128GB. I'm super well qualified and the down payment was $249.99 plus tax on the downpayment. $28 a month for 18 months with $246 buyout and at. Just called and it was easy. Called at 745am, was signed and done by 755am eastern before Apple's site even went live. This is likely my final JOD, the down payments are getting too high and it's not worth it anymore. Just gonna end up paying this new one out and going EIP route in a few years. Even super well qualified is getting high down payment now. Last year I remember Pro model which was same price was only $117.99 down for SWQ. The writing is on the wall that they want to force us off JOD.

What killed it for me was, the fact that they hid it. The stores acted like its was a huge ordeal, Some Stores didn't do JOD at all. Others told you, you can only send the phone back via mail. Then the $0 down option went away... Then started removing phones from it. Then T-Mobile acted like its was dead and if you had it, then good for you. But its not offered anymore. Then its came back as a budget option, for low cost phones. lol

I think this pre-order has gone smooth simply because of the split in order dates. The Mini and Max coming later eased everything for us today. The next pre-order date for those phones might be a s***show!

I agree with you, but should still allow pre-orders so they can accurately figure out inventory requirements.

Yes I had to call for some reason this year. Never had to do that before.

That is really odd. Uncle Sam must have been mad at you... HA

I ordered direct from Apple instead of T-Mobile this year. It was a better option financially. The 30 month credit with the iPhone was a crappy deal in my opinion.
