I actually took t mobiles deal after I already bought out the phone out right with apple. im essentially paying 399 for a new iPhone pro.. so ic ant be mad at that. would rather pay it off completely but ill take this deal. my only concern was having the phone unlocked since I travel alot. but I was told that they would unlock my phone if I told them I was traveling. which is fine by me. ill have to pay monthly for some time but after some time I can just pay it off

I ordered direct from Apple instead of T-Mobile this year. It was a better option financially. The 30 month credit with the iPhone was a crappy deal in my opinion.

Yea kinda regretting going through T-mobile now. Had already ordered before I saw the additional $150 trade in promo on Apple's site. For my X, I could have gotten $250 from Apple and $150 right away from T-mobile for $400 instead of the $415 with $222 of it paid over 30 months. And the iPhone would have been unlocked right away...no trying to get T-mobile to unlock it later. Seems too complicated to try to cancel the T-mobile order and now timing has slipped on the phone I want, so will keep what I have, but lesson learned.

I had no issues ordering through t-mobile this morning. $500 for my XS plus $200 for being here over 5 years. I was gonna roll with my xs another year but battery is sucking and I won't get anywhere near $700 for it. Looking forward to getting my 256 gb pacific blue 12 pro !

I also ordered my mom the 512 gb unlocked form apple.com it took a while to get hers to go through. Both show to be here next Friday though :D

I have had luck a few times with T-Mo.... late in a EIP cycle.... let’s say in 2 years.... I prepping to upgrade wife to iPhone 14. I will have 6 payments left... I will contact T-Force and ask them to “commute the remaining bill credits so I can pay the phone off.” They have worked with me servers times on this if it is reasonable. They aren’t going to do something like this at the beginning... but when you are towards the end of it... they will do it.

I bought another iPhone from Apple before I bought from t mob. Should I keep and try to resell it. Is it worth it
I would guess you will make some money but maybe not enough to deal with the potential hassle if something goes sideways. I once sold a new phone that the person proceeded to open and want a refund for. I stood my ground but it was a waste of time and stressful. I don’t think demand is so high that you’ll be able to clear more than $100 or so. I’d just return the thing and never have to give it a second thought.

I am waiting until the second wave to order 2 iPhone 12 Pro Max in blue and gold. Sounds like T-Mobile changed the deal this year for SWQ customers. They told me yesterday that they were requiring a down payment for anything over $750. Looks like this year it is over $1000.

Guys do you think I should cancel my T-Mobile insurance with JOD and just get Apple care + with the theft and lost option? Cause T-Mobile is charging $18 a month and I don’t plan on getting a new phone next year. Meanwhile Apple care is less than $12 a month. I don’t know if it’s worth it

I am going with the Apple Care subscription.

So , just preorder with tmobile and delivery date set at 10/23 ( 1 with tmobile , 1 with apple ) , and my wife said she want the max instead ( using regular X now ) ...

Keeping the tmobile , and re-sale the one from Apple , will that be good idea ? Everywhere has been changed to November delivery .

I did not receive the email about the $200 credit for 5 year loyalty. Anyone know how I can possibly secure this? It’s not showing up when I try to upgrade through the TMobile website.
