Sorry, but how does everyone know how much RAM is in the 12.9?

Normally Apple don’t tell anyone this, and does it state how much is in the new 11” ?

I’m buying one regardless, I’m just not sure which. The new display is tempting, but I never got used to the size. I would also have to sell my 11 inch Magic Keyboard. The 11 inch is perfect for me because it’s used only as a secondary device to my Mac. I don’t know what to do lol.

They mention it this time.

That's on the lower capacities. 512GB to 1TB is back to $400 upcharge versus $200. Here's hoping that comes with 16GB RAM.
Yeah, I didn’t really pay attention to the other storage capacities. I was planning on going with the 256GB cellular model, but I’ll settle for the 128GB.

I seen when Apple put the price tag on the 11 inch model, then waited a few seconds to show the 12.9 inch model.. i knew from those seconds that they raising the price for the base model. Given the features added… it was coming.

Anyone think the 11” Screen will be the same tech from the 2018 and 2020 iPad Pro models?

I mean, I’m really looking for a change due to the touch issues

From the rumors I read… it appears as if it was a surprise (especially for me), however… most leakers mention that whatever chip Apple put in the iPad Pro.. would be comparable to the M1.
I kept hearing A14Z but I haven’t paid attention in awhile. Seems like this really makes the Pro a laptop replacement.

I think the one to get this time is the 12.9”, 1 TB, 16GB RAM, 5G capable version. Expensive at $1,999, but I think that seems to be the version where you get the most iPad for the price. You also get $150-$200 in credits through the US carriers.

I was hoping for a bombshell drop and an announcement of something like MacOS for iPad, would have bought the 12.9 inch with LTe.

Alas, I'm going to stick with my iPad Air for now and keep considering the iPad as a toy.

$2,200 for a tablet. I get that a 2TB option is a big deal (and that made me contemplate selling my 2-month-old 2020 12.9" with 1TB), and 16GB of RAM is HUGE. But I just purchased a 5TB external hard drive for $89 and 32GB of RAM for $160, so I'm not able to get past the Apple luxury tax on this one (though I realize this is not close to being an apples-to-apples comparison in component costs). Even the 1TB version is $300 more than the comparable 2020 model. For the price point, the 2TB model should at least include a Magic Keyboard, as it is essentially a laptop replacement.

Really glad I bought into the ecosystem before the updates, and barring another quantum leap in specs, I don't foresee an iPad Pro hardware upgrade on my end before 2024.

(Edited to correct the price difference between the 2020 and 2021 1TB model.)

I’ll be perfectly content with the base model 12.9 cellular model, however I prefer the 256gb variant… as I mention before ram never been an issue to me on an iPad. I tend to think iPadOS is much more lighter than macOS in terms of background processing. And I think there’s a different way in which ram is handled under iPadOS compared to macOS, I could be wrong though.
