I’ll keep what I’ve got. X256 and 3 series SS. Nothing was announced today hardware wise for me to upgrade.
It wouldn't make sense to upgrade for you at this point Apple already has enough from you. You are next years revenue stream.

I am going back to a BIG phone. From SE to one of the Max. Excited, looks like great piece of kit. I may upgrade my watch too.
All of the comments from people stating "I am keeping my iPhone 7, 6, etc as it works great, especially after new battery", is the best endorsement for my buying the X Max. I mentioned earlier that I'm "lining up" for the first time, and one reason I'm doing it is that I get the feeling that it's a phone I can run for a long time. So many other iPhone owners do, and I'm sure I could too. If I had an X, or to consider trading the iPhone 8 plus for a new X (to end up with two new Xs) doesn't seem worth it.
But in hindsight, my 8 Plus was worth it, and I suspect the X Max will be too. And we'll run 'em both as long as they are operationally and security wise (updated with Apple software) viable. So it's the "I'm keeping mine" that reinforces this purchase as much as my positive iPhone 8 Plus experience did.
I think Apple CRUSHES with this lineup.
And the fact it doesn’t come with a fast charger or affordable storage?I’m getting the one with the terrible, terrible name. Bigger screen than my 7 Plus, same footprint. What’s not to love? Except for the price, the lack of a headphone jack, and of course the terrible, terrible name.
Same here! I sold my iPhone 8 Plus 2 Weeks ago, using a rather broken SE until next week friday. The Xs Max will feel so different and massive again.I think I'm going to go from my 8 Plus to the XS Max (256GB). It's funny, but the 8 Plus was my first "bigger" iPhone, and now that I have had it, I have no idea why I always thought the Plus versions were too big. Now, I want that XS Max.![]()
