When does iPhone get cut/copy/paste on the keyboard? I love that feature on iPad and miss it on iPhone.

Has the original poster watched this video yet? I don't see how someone could NOT be amazed at all of the changes and how incredible they are.

@chrismichael83
Plus, I just find iPad now can import photos from iOS devices, and might be able to connect to iPhone PH (or iPad PH) using USB cables. I am 100% amazed by this change, and cannot wait for further beta to make it work more reliably.

am late to the party (and not about to read 13 pages), but... we see this same topic with each new ios, and... it's no longer entertaining, just tiresome.

thankfully, lots of other threads to discuss bugs, fixes, discoveries, likes, failings, etc.

Just read the first post to see how ridiculous...it's a total letdown because it doesn't "look" different enough from previous versions.

Yeah, we now know where his priority lies. Interesting enough that he never replies a single thread after first 2 pages.

I tagged him in my post above about the video...so, unless he's in a cave somewhere with no signal, he should have a notification leading him to that post.

I already posted in this thread, but just wanted to share another observation I've been making.

Virtually every tech YouTuber out there with an interest in Apple-stuff has been continuing to express the fact it's taking them 1 to 2 weeks to cover the sheer amount of stuff in that keynote.

The OP must not have watched the keynote, seriously.

I’m sure he did, actually...he just only cares about a shiny new top layer versus drastically improved core functions.

I agree it really bothers be that the UI hasn’t been changed in ios13. I wanted to see a much different home screen.

this isn't to you, just a general observation (after millenia, following these forums); people clamor for change, for 'new'. then, when apple does change something, people rant & rave here: "how could they change that??"

you wanted a 'dfferent home screen', someone down the block likes it as it is... millions of opinions, and none of it matters. apple does what it does, and we adapt... or not.

i agree (especially about the hideous dock). i wish apple would let us customize the GUI, even a bit (the only thing i miss about my android device).

Are there examples of a revised dock mocked-up somewhere that is preferred that you can share? I honestly don't know what I would change about it.

i don't understand why apple doesn't give us any options with the GUI (again, it's the only thing i miss from android). for me, personally... i'd remove the dock entirely (but that's just me)...

I think I said it earlier in this thread, people are idiots. Give them the ability to make changes like that and they will screw up the phone without knowing how they did it.

How so? It just bothers you that it hasn’t been changed, or is there something specific you think should be changed?
Ability to place icons where I want

Icons to wrap from the bottom rather than the top so I can have a minimalist home screen if I want. E.g. only 1 row at the bottom. This would also open up more gesture or force touch options on the home screen

A new size option for icons/folders and fock

Maybe ability to have more rows & columns too.

Always on display (not home screen but I really want this feature)

Better way to access control center

Lastly wish they could do something about the dead space at the bottom, such a waste of real estate.

Live Tiles on Windows Phone. Yep...I actually loved the layout capabilities and UI.

we're talking about GUI options (android has a lot of them), not dangerous hacks to apps, the OS. i mean.. removing the dock, customizing the look of the home screen (etc etc). am not suggesting apple let us do jalibreak'y things...
