Apple Maps iOS 16 Thread

Had an old address of an aunt in Germany so I dropped into Google Maps and Apple Maps.
Both had not problem finding it.
Apple Maps would not let me paste the address into search. I had to paste into Google search in Safari then lookup via Apple Maps. Talk about screwy!
Google did not have street view for this address.
Apple had Look Around but it would consistently show me the address next door instead.

The paste and Look Around reported via Feedback.

Apple may start testing the new map data in the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein and Switzerland around August 15.

Look around is creeping north in metro New York. It’s now as far up as just north of North White Plains. But it seems to be moving in a scattershot way and not uniformly across Westchester County.

Don’t exaggerate either. The United States is the country most pampered by Apple. Very often, it receives new features first. In general, American cities have more features than other cities in the world. Justin O'Beirne demonstrated this in an article.

Yes, don't think that happens so often, we took pictures at the same time ... he for the "Look Around" - we (the co-driver) to capture the Apple Maps car we'd spotted (nearly 2.5 years ago) ...

Apple Lookaround is available now for germany including the smallest villages and streets :)
Big advantage against google streetview which is having only major cities and data is from 2008 :D
 
One odd note:
I tried Look Around for my Aunt's house in Germany (she lives north of Hamburg) and my Cousin's place a few miles from there). In both cases Look Around showed me the address next door. Kind of neat though as there is no Google street view for these locals.
 
Am I correct that look around has been added yesterday to Italy? Or was this already the case?

Would be a dramatic speed up after France and Germany last month/week.
